EDIIIE created a full-scale photorealistic VR hangar training simulator for EASA-Certified Aviation MRO Organisation — an EASA-certified Italian aviation maintenance training organisation — enabling technicians to master complex maintenance procedures without ever touching a live aircraft.
EDIIIE created a full-scale VR maintenance training simulator set inside a photorealistic aircraft hangar environment — accurately modelling the aircraft type, tooling, maintenance access points, and procedural requirements of EASA-Certified Aviation MRO Organisation's training curriculum.
The system operates in two core modes: Learn Mode, where technicians are guided step-by-step through maintenance procedures with annotated equipment, narrated instructions, and highlighted tools; and Practice Mode, where technicians perform tasks independently using VR controllers — selecting tools, accessing panels, executing maintenance steps, and receiving real-time error detection and scoring at completion. Assessment results are logged with timestamps and exportable for regulatory records.
EASA-Certified Aviation MRO Organisation's technician cohorts trained on the VR system reached procedural competency significantly faster than those trained exclusively through live-aircraft instruction. The zero-damage training environment eliminated all damage incidents during the training period — and the EASA-aligned assessment exports gave EASA-Certified Aviation MRO Organisation's compliance team audit-ready documentation for Part-147 records.
EDIIIE builds VR maintenance training systems for aviation MROs, aerospace manufacturers, and defence operators — globally compliant, infinitely scalable.
